Professional peels for cosmetologists

Peels are the controlled chemical removal of the upper layers of the epidermis to stimulate skin renewal, improve texture and even out tone. A professional facial peel is a medical product, and working with it requires knowledge of anatomy, skin physiology and hands-on experience.

Classification of peels by depth of action

Superficial peels act on the stratum corneum and the granular layer of the epidermis. They use AHAs (glycolic 20-35%, lactic 20-40%, mandelic 25-50%), BHAs (salicylic 15-30%) and enzymes. Indications: dull skin, mild hyperpigmentation, early signs of photoaging, mild acne, anti-aging prevention. Minimal downtime of 1-3 days; they can be performed year-round.
